Solutions for Mild to Severe Skin Pigmentation.

Irregular, unwanted pigmentation in the skin, appearing as dark spots or patches, is caused by the overproduction of melanin. This disorder is triggered by various factors such as sun exposure, hormonal changes, skin injuries or certain medications. Examples included Melasma, Solar Lentigines, PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation), and Ephelides (freckles).

Mild (Superficial Pigmented Lesions – Ephelides/Freckles):

Milk Peel (Dermaceutic)

NB! To Prepare for Cosmelan, the patient must prepare the skin  with Melanostop Peels and use the Mesoestetic recommended cosmeceuticals at home 2 wks prior. After they have had Cosmelan, it is imperative that they follow the home advice and cosmeceuticals recommended.

Homecare:

Avoid sun exposure

Use a medical sunscreen minimum 50 SPF and wear a hat when outside in the sun

Choose mild peels/microneedling in summer and deeper/stronger treatments in winter

Important to Note:

When treating pigmentation, there is a possibility that it will get darker before it gets lighter. Pigmentation can reoccur once it has been treated, therefore it is important to maintain it with the correct treatments and cosmeceuticals
